It looks back on a thousand years of history and is one of the most famous churches in Germany: the Frauenkirche in Dresden. The stone, bell-shaped curved dome of the baroque building made an impression 275 years ago. It is thanks to the commitment of countless supporters all over the world and a structural masterpiece that this is again shaping the city skyline despite the complete destruction of the church in 1945.
The replica, completed in 2005, fascinates with its historically accurate shape, the combination of old and new stones and the powerful modern technology that makes the diverse life of the church possible in the first place. The requirements for air quality and room air conditioning are particularly high. Two RLT systems with integrated high-pressure air humidification units keep the supplied room air with the required humidity constant in winter as in summer. The two units are supplied by a central high-pressure pump unit of the Airtec HydroSens AHU type. With only 5-6W / kg of atomized water, the system works extremely energetically, economically and efficiently. The adiabatic system also supports the summer system cooling and saves energy costs. Thus, the building technology of the Frauenkirche relies on the latest and most economical solutions in ventilation technology.
